Why Epic Games Restricts Virtual & VoIP Phone Numbers
Epic Games mandates SMS two-factor authentication (2FA) for competitive Fortnite tournaments (FNCS) and Unreal Engine marketplace publishers to combat cheaters and smurfing. Epic Games filters out virtual VoIP numbers. USAVerify Pro supplies fresh physical SIM numbers from AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile that pass Epic Games' anti-smurfing verification instantly.
